Zwei deutsche Touristinnen sind am frühen Sonntagmorgen bei einem Autounfall in Italien ums Leben gekommen. Ihr Wagen wurde von einem anderen Auto gerammt, das mit hoher Geschwindigkeit über eine rote Ampel gefahren war. Die beiden Frauen starben noch an der Unfallstelle. Eine dritte Deutsche, die ebenfalls in dem Wagen saß, wurde schwer verletzt und in ein Krankenhaus eingeliefert.
Unfallursache noch unklar
Die Unfallursache ist noch unklar. Die Polizei ermittelt. Ersten Erkenntnissen zufolge war der Fahrer des anderen Autos betrunken und hatte keine Fahrerlaubnis. Gegen ihn wird nun wegen fahrlässiger Tötung ermittelt.
