Die Schweiz hat den 68. Eurovision Song Contest gewonnen. Mit dem Song "The Code" holte Nemo den Sieg nach Hause. Es ist der erste Schweizer Sieg seit 1988, als Céline Dion mit "Ne partez pas sans moi" gewann.
Nemo, der mit bürgerlichem Namen Remo Forrer heißt, hat die Schweiz mit seinem Song "The Code" überzeugt. Der Song ist ein eingängiger Popsong mit einem eingängigen Refrain. Nemo hat den Song selbst geschrieben und produziert, unterstützt von einem Team aus Songwritern und Produzenten.
Die Schweiz hatte sich mit großen Hoffnungen auf den Eurovision Song Contest vorbereitet. Das Land hatte in den letzten Jahren immer wieder gute Platzierungen erreicht, aber ein Sieg war schon lange nicht mehr gelungen.
